Welcome to BIRD Bakery, where everything we make is baked on-site, from scratch, each and every day. We use only the finest ingredients—from Plugrá butter and Valrhona cocoa to the highest quality Madagascar Bourbon vanilla—because we believe that treating yourself also means treating yourself well.


Famous for our cupcakes, custom cakes, and delicious sugar cookies, we also offer breakfast and lunch daily. Come by to enjoy a sweet treat or stay for a savory bite – there’s something for everyone.


At the end of each day, all remaining cupcakes and treats are donated to local nonprofits and philanthropies, and we begin baking fresh again the very next morning. We never sell “day-old” or discounted products, ensuring that as our guest, you’re enjoying the freshest delights baked just hours before your visit. Enjoy!

Story

Elizabeth Chambers founded BIRD Bakery in 2012 after months of perfecting cherished family recipes. Growing up in San Antonio, Elizabeth was inspired by her mother and grandmother, who ran a local catering company, igniting her passion for the culinary arts. Opening the first BIRD Bakery in her hometown felt like a natural choice, and it quickly became a community favorite, known for its fresh, nostalgic, made-from-scratch treats that filled a unique niche. Since then, BIRD has expanded with two more beloved locations in Dallas, TX, and Denver, CO, bringing its heartfelt, homemade touch to even more communities.
